Michael T. Mahoney, Attorney

A member of the Peoria County and Illinois State Bar Associations, Michael T. Mahoney has handled many cases establishing legal precedents in child custody, child support, estate settlement, real estate law and worker’s compensation cases.

Besides providing the Peoria, Illinois area with top-notch legal services, Michael T. Mahoney has a strong interest in serving his community as illustrated in part by his 2009 Civic Achievement Award received from the City of Chillicothe.

Kristine A. Petersen, Paralegal
Kristine A. Petersen began her career at Michael T. Mahoney, Ltd., as a co-op student in the Illinois Central College secretarial program. Upon completion of the program, she remained at ICC and obtained her Associates in Applied Science Degree in Paralegal. She has spent her entire 25-year career as a paralegal serving the clients of Michael T. Mahoney, Ltd.

Kristine’s strong work ethic and genuine concern for clients shows in her work. Her sincere interest in helping to achieve the best outcome possible is matched only by her desire to provide a positive experience for each client.
